Service project opportunity
Forest Heights HOA (FHHOA) is looking for older Girl Scouts (grades 6 and up) to help with their Easter Egg Hunt (hiding the eggs) on April 20 from 9-11AM, The event needs approximately 3-6 girls, more are always welcome.

Neighborhood Emergency Team Training
This is a program to provide Girl Scouts with opportunities to serve their communities and expand their emergency response and leadership skills. After completing NET Basic Training, you will be qualified to join your neighborhood NET team and to help in the event of a disaster, including severe winter storms or earthquakes. Once you are a NET, there are additional training opportunities.
Daisy troops and leaders are invited to come enjoy a day at our local Girl Scout property on April 13. Spend the day learning outdoor skills while connecting with other Girl Scout troops. Older Girl Scouts will serve as Program Aides to your troop, leading a nature walk, making SWAPS, playing games, teaching songs and more. Pack a lunch to eat on the meadow. Bring SWAPS to exchange with the other Girl Scouts.

Junior lock-in 2019
Junior Lock-in will take place April 13 at 3:00pm to April 14 at 11:00am, 2019. Just for Juniors, this event at Camp Mountaindale is a beloved SU8 tradition. Planned by and for Junior Girl Scouts, you’ll arrive in the evening, have dinner together, and enjoy an overnight experience. Times are approximate and subject to change. Watch for registration info to come as the event date approaches!
Brownie Play day 2019
Brownie Play Day is scheduled for May 4, 2019, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Brownies are invited to come enjoy a day at our local Girl Scout property: Camp Mountaindale! Older Girl Scouts will serve as Program Aids to your troop, leading them through badgework, playing games, hiking, and other amazing activities. Pack a lunch to eat on the meadow. Bring SWAPS to exchange with the other Girl Scouts.
World thinking day 2019
Each branch of the service unit is hosting a World Thinking Day event in 2019! Each troop attending will bring a display highlighting the country of their choice, a snack to share with the group, and a craft or activity (SWAPS are popular). We need troops to help plan and host.
